RULES |

1. Teams
1.1. Teams of 3 (exceptionally 4) persons will be created;
1.2. Each team must have a leader chosen by a random process or by voting;
1.3. Only team leader is responsible for delivering required items to the lecturers. Deliveries from ordinary team members will not be accepted (except rule 3.4);
1.4. Teams must be established within the first two weeks of the semester. Deadline is 28th of Septembre 2009, 17:00 pm. Teams created after this deadline will not be accepted and credit will not be provided.
2. Team Duties
2.1. Each team will deliver a common presentation (30 minutes per team);
2.2. Presentation (in Power Point, HTML or Acrobat format) will be delivered by team's leader in the 9th week of semester to the module's e-mail. Deadline is 16th of November 2009, 12:00 pm;
2.3. Presentations will be presented by students in the following weeks - 23.11, 30.11, and 7.12;
2.4. Order of the presentations will be random and at least two persons from each team have to be present at all presentations as an audience.
3. Team Member Duties and Rights
3.1. Take fair part of the work needed to prepare and deliver presentation;
3.2. Deliver her/his part of the common work to the team leader and present her/his part of presentation;
3.3. Follow team leader's instructions and cooperate with other team members;
3.4. Team members have a right to report to the lecturers a team leader who does not carry out her/his duties (see rules 4.1 - 4.6).
4. Team Leader's Duties and Rights
4.1. Team leader is responsible for establishing the team by sending following information to the module's e-mail within the deadline described in rule 1.4:
- name, ID and e-mail of team leader,
- topic of the presentation from the List of Topics & Teams,
- names and IDs of ordinary team members;
4.2. Team leader is responsible for electronic delivery of the presentation to the lecturers within the deadline described in rule 2.2;
4.3. Team Leader is responsible for quality graphic styling of the presentation;
4.4. Team Leader is responsible for fair work assignment & coordination;
4.5. Team Leader has to be ready to stand in for a missing team member during presentation;
4.6. Team Leader need not to present if all other team members would present;
4.7. Team leader has a right as well a duty to report to the lecturers a team member who does not follow her/his duties.
5. Presentation
5.1. Team leader will introduce her/his team and their topic;
5.2. Each team member (with the exception of the regular leader) has to present fair part of the presentation;
5.3. Presentation must not be read. Presenting person is only allowed to use notes, which are limited as follows:
- Bulleted text, Arial 16, standard spacing,
- Size: approx. ½ A4, standard page margins (2,5 cm).
6. Major reasons for not acceptance of the presentation as a part or as a whole
6.1. Plagiarism. Mainly copying of texts, ideas, images and other information without giving proper reference. Guideline on Plagiarism is here (Czech only);
6.2. Lack of personal ideas, opinions, visions and statements;
6.3. Low graphic/stylistic quality, pure factual content;
6.4. Machine-translated sections.
7. Credit
7.1. Credit will be providet only to the student which is a member of a team and which fulfill all above defined requirements;
7.2. Those who breach the rules or duties, or do not fulfill above defined requirements, will be handled individually;
